As part of our comprehensive summer improvement initiative, we undertook the removal of an aging wood block floor, uncovering a chilly and damp subfloor that lacked an integral damp-proof membrane.
To address this issue, we applied a 25mm layer of high-quality flooring-grade mastic asphalt.
This not only enhanced insulation but also ensured a warm and level surface, ideal for the seamless installation of new carpets and vinyl floors.
